Induction stove with 1 × 8 kW burners
An induction range transfers energy directly into ferromagnetic cookware without heating the surface itself. A high-frequency electromagnetic field beneath the ceramic glass generates eddy currents in the base of the pan, turning it into the heat source. This method eliminates wasted energy, speeds up cooking and keeps the kitchen cooler than gas or electric hobs.
The ALBA I4/700 induction range is built for continuous service in busy kitchens. Place compatible cookware on one of the two zones, select the zone with the rotary knob and choose either power or temperature mode. In power mode the knob adjusts from level 1 to 9; in temperature mode the digital display lets you set values between 70 °C and 110 °C for gentle simmering or precise reductions. A residual heat indicator remains lit until the zone is safe to touch, reducing accidental burns.
The 6 mm AISI 304 stainless steel worktop is mounted on height-adjustable legs that clear the floor for easy cleaning. An open base design prevents trapped dirt and allows quick access to the control unit beneath the ceramic glass. Three sensors monitor each zone and communicate with the digital display, ensuring the set temperature or power level is maintained without overshoot.
The 8 kW total load is supplied from a three-phase 400 V circuit, the standard for commercial catering equipment. The 500 mm depth and 700 mm width fit a standard worktop run, while the 900 mm height allows comfortable standing operation. A 230 V outlet and pot-filler tap are available as optional extras, and a drain channel can be added if required.
Cleaning is limited to the surfaces the entry names. Wipe the stainless steel top and legs with a damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid abrasives that can scratch the finish. The ceramic glass can be cleaned with a dedicated induction-safe cleaner to remove burnt-on residues without damaging the electromagnetic coils beneath. The open base should be swept or vacuumed regularly to prevent dust accumulation around the control unit.
