ARAVEN Closed Service Cart for Table Setting and Clearing

A closed service cart keeps tableware, cutlery and linen organised during setting and clearing, shielding them from view while moving through dining areas. The unit rolls on wheels, allowing staff to transport everything needed for a full table in one trip without carrying trays by hand. Its enclosed design prevents items from shifting or falling, and the solid sides block dust and accidental contact, keeping service discreet and hygienic.

The cart is loaded at the service station: plates, glasses, napkins and condiments are placed on the shelves inside. Staff then wheel it to the dining area, using the rounded side handles for control. Once at the table, items are set out directly from the cart, reducing the number of trips between kitchen and floor. After service, used tableware is collected back into the cart and returned to the wash-up area in a single journey. The wheels allow smooth movement across carpet, tile or uneven thresholds, and the enclosed structure keeps soiled items out of sight until they reach the scullery.

Built with a reinforced frame, the cart supports up to 150 kg, accommodating full loads of crockery and glassware. The 10 cm diameter wheels provide stability and ease of steering, even when fully laden. Assembly is required on delivery, as the unit arrives in pieces to save space during transport.

The 950 mm length, 500 mm width and 945 mm height give the cart a compact footprint that fits through standard doorways and service corridors. Its size allows it to be stored in cupboards or against walls when not in use, taking up minimal floor space in busy kitchens or service areas.

Cleaning is straightforward: the smooth surfaces can be wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser after each use, removing food debris and fingerprints. The wheels should be checked periodically for debris that could impede movement, and the frame inspected for any signs of wear to maintain safe operation.
