ARAVEN Large Horizontal 2-Drawer Organiser for Service Carts

A horizontal 2-drawer organiser creates a fixed place for utensils, sachets and small ingredients on a service cart. Instead of loose items sliding across the tray, each drawer holds its contents in a single layer, so staff can see and reach what they need without searching. The drawers slide on plastic runners that keep the movement smooth and quiet under the weight of filled containers.

The principle is simple: two shallow compartments sit side by side, each with its own front handle. When the cart is wheeled to the pass or the counter, the operator pulls the drawer open, takes what is needed, and closes it again. Because the drawers are low and wide, they do not tip when opened fully, and the flat top can still carry a tray or a stack of plates without wobbling.

To use the organiser, place it on the service cart shelf. Load the drawers with the items that are used most often—tongs, napkins, portion cups, condiment bottles. If more storage is needed, stack a second organiser on top; the feet of the upper unit slot into the rim of the lower one, preventing sideways movement. When the service is over, remove the drawers, wash them in the sink or dishwasher, and return them to the frame.

The organiser is made of food-safe plastic that resists staining and odours. The runners are integrated into the side walls, so there are no separate parts to lose or misalign. The front of each drawer has a recessed handle that does not snag on cloths or aprons.

The 440 mm width matches the standard shelf of most service trolleys, so it fits without overhang. The 195 mm height allows two organisers to stack within the clearance of a typical cart shelf, doubling the storage without increasing the footprint. The 349 mm depth gives enough room for common catering utensils and portion packs to lie flat, preventing spills when the drawer is opened.

Cleaning is straightforward: the drawers lift out of the frame, so they can be washed separately. The plastic surface wipes clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and the runners need only an occasional check to remove any food debris that might slow the slide.

The organiser is supplied as a single unit with two drawers. It is designed for use on ARAVEN service carts and compatible trolleys from other manufacturers that share the same shelf dimensions.
