ARAVEN Polypropylene Tumbler 400 ml – AR02322

A reusable tumbler designed for high-turnover catering environments where glass is impractical. Instead of fragile glass, this tumbler is moulded from polypropylene, a material that absorbs impact without shattering. The transparent finish mimics the look of traditional glassware, allowing drinks to be seen clearly while eliminating the risk of breakage and the cost of replacements.

The tumbler holds 400 ml, a standard measure for soft drinks, juices and water served in bulk. Its shape is a straight cylinder with a slight flare at the rim, making it easy to grip and stack. The base is flat and stable, preventing spills when the tumbler is set down on a tray, counter or outdoor table.

To use, the operator fills the tumbler to the 400 ml line, or slightly below to allow for ice. The wide opening accepts standard ice cubes and pours without splashing. When empty, tumblers nest inside one another, saving space in cupboards and on transport trolleys. After service, they are collected, washed in commercial dishwashers and returned to circulation, reducing single-use waste.

The construction is a single piece of polypropylene, free from seams or joints that could trap dirt. The material is resistant to staining from fruit juices and carbonated drinks, and does not absorb odours. It withstands repeated cycles in high-temperature dishwashers without warping or clouding.

The tumbler measures 82 mm in diameter and 114 mm in height, fitting standard cup holders and under most bar taps. Its weight is light enough for easy handling by staff and guests, yet substantial enough to feel solid in the hand.

Cleaning follows from the smooth, non-porous surface. Tumblers are rinsed immediately after use to remove sugars and acids, then loaded into a commercial dishwasher. No scrubbing or soaking is required; the material releases residues when exposed to hot water and detergent. After washing, tumblers air-dry quickly, ready for the next service.
