BHS-G Floor Drain 300 x 300 mm One-Piece Channel

A floor drain channel collects water from kitchen floors and directs it into the waste system without pooling. The channel is a shallow, sloping tray that sits level with the finished floor; water runs along the tray and into a central outlet where a siphon traps odours and debris before the water enters the drain pipe. This arrangement keeps the floor dry, reduces slip hazards and prevents water from seeping under tiles or vinyl flooring.

The operator installs the channel first, levelling it with the pins on the side walls so the tray slopes evenly towards the outlet. Once the channel is set, the surrounding floor is built up to the chosen edge profile—standard, vinyl or tiled—and the grating is dropped in place. Water from spills, cleaning or condensate flows across the grating, through the mesh and down the sloping tray into the siphon. The siphon's water seal blocks sewer gases from rising back into the kitchen.

The channel is a single welded piece of AISI 304 stainless steel, 0.8 to 2.0 mm thick. The flat tray has a continuous fall towards the outlet, and the side walls carry levelling pins for precise alignment. The outlet is fitted with a DN100 stainless steel pipe, 108 mm external diameter, ready to connect to the building's waste line. Edge profiles are available for standard, vinyl or tiled floors, allowing the channel to sit flush with the surrounding finish. Gratings come in smooth or anti-slip mesh patterns and different mesh sizes to suit the kitchen's traffic and hygiene requirements.

A 300 x 300 mm footprint fits neatly under worktops, hobs or dishwashers where space is tight. The central siphon position keeps the outlet clear of walls and cupboards, simplifying pipe runs. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion from water, detergents and food acids, and the welded seams eliminate leaks between separate parts.

Cleaning involves lifting the grating, flushing the tray with hot water and brushing out any debris that has collected on the mesh or in the siphon. The smooth stainless steel surface allows quick wipe-downs, and the welded construction has no crevices where dirt can lodge. Edge profiles that match the floor finish prevent gaps where water or food particles could accumulate.
