This model has a High-power small size burners made of corrosion-resistant material have been used. They provide perfect combustion and even heating on the whole pot surface.
A gas stove transfers energy directly from the flame to the pan, heating food faster than electric elements and giving the chef instant control over the intensity. The flame surrounds the base of the pan, spreading heat evenly and preventing hot spots that can scorch sauces or leave the centre of a steak raw. When the knob is turned, the gas flow increases or decreases at once, so the temperature responds without the lag of an electric coil or ceramic plate. This direct, responsive heat is the reason professional kitchens choose gas for searing, sautéing and reducing stocks where timing and precision matter.
The sequence begins by placing a pan on the cast-iron support, which is shaped to hold the base steady and conduct heat without warping. The pilot burner keeps a small flame alight; when the control knob is pressed and turned, the main burner ignites from the pilot and the flame grows to the set level. The two burners operate independently: one at 4.15 kW for simmering and holding, the other at 7.15 kW for rapid boiling or high-heat wok cooking. After use, the pan is removed, the knob turned off and the pilot remains in standby, ready for the next task.
Burner basins and the removable chimney lift out for cleaning. The basins collect spills and splashes, preventing them from burning onto the stainless steel body; once removed, they can be washed in a commercial dishwasher, cutting manual scrubbing time. The chimney, which channels heat and combustion gases away from the worktop, also detaches and fits into the dishwasher rack, so grease and carbon deposits are removed without hand-brushing. The body itself is a single sheet of stainless steel, polished to resist fingerprints and corrosion, and formed into a seamless work surface that stands 250 mm high—low enough to slide under wall cupboards yet tall enough to keep the flame clear of counter clutter.
The 400 mm width and 730 mm depth create a compact footprint that fits between other GORT LINE 700 units, linking with a hair-joint connection system to form a continuous run without gaps where dirt can collect. The gas type must be specified at order—G20, G25, G25.3, G2.350, G27 or G30/G31—so the nozzles are sized for the local supply pressure and calorific value, ensuring the rated 11.3 kW output is delivered safely and consistently. Protected nozzles and pilot light prevent accidental blockage or damage during daily use, while the corrosion-resistant burner heads maintain their shape and efficiency over years of service.
Cleaning follows the removable parts: burner basins and chimney go into the dishwasher, the stainless steel body is wiped with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and the cast-iron supports are brushed free of food debris. The pilot burner is checked periodically for dust, and the gas connection is inspected for leaks as part of routine kitchen maintenance. No disassembly beyond the removable parts is required, so upkeep stays within the daily cleaning schedule of a busy kitchen.
The stove is supplied as a single unit; no variants are listed. It is classified under professional gas cooking equipment in the BHS-G catalogue.
