A rails section organises Gastronorm trays in a standardised kitchen cupboard or on a worktop. It holds each tray at the correct spacing so that air can circulate above and below, keeping food at a safe temperature while it waits to be plated or served. The rails are fixed to a frame that sits flat on the shelf, preventing the trays from sliding when the door is opened or the unit is moved.
This BHS-G section is built for 100 mm deep GN1/1 trays. Three sets of rails run parallel across the frame, allowing three trays to be loaded side by side. The operator slides each tray along the rails until it rests against the back stop, leaving the front edge clear for easy removal. No tools are needed; the section simply drops onto the shelf and stays in place by its own weight.
The frame measures 331 mm from front to back and 533 mm across, matching the footprint of a standard GN1/1 tray. It is made from stainless steel, which resists corrosion and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. No moving parts or controls are fitted; the section is a static support that requires no adjustment or maintenance beyond routine cleaning.
In practice, the 331 mm depth means the section will fit inside most professional cupboards and under-counter units designed for Gastronorm equipment. The 533 mm width allows three GN1/1 trays to be stored side by side without overhang, making efficient use of shelf space in a busy kitchen.
Cleaning is straightforward: remove the trays, lift the section off the shelf, and wash it with hot water and detergent. Dry it before replacing to prevent water spots on the stainless steel surface.
