The exterior and interior of the refrigerated counter is made of high quality stainless steel for long-term use and easy cleaning. It is equipped with 3 s/s solid hinged doors made of stainless steel
A refrigerated counter keeps prepared food chilled while it is displayed or held ready for service. Forced air circulates through the chamber, drawing heat from the food and expelling it outside. The fan-driven airflow maintains an even temperature across every shelf, so every portion stays within the safe zone without freezing. Because the air moves continuously, the unit recovers quickly after the door is opened, reducing energy waste and preventing condensation on the food.
The operator loads GN1/1 gastronorm containers directly onto the recessed floor of the cooling chamber. Rails can be removed for cleaning or repositioned to suit different container heights. A digital controller sets the temperature between +2 °C and +10 °C; the display shows the current reading. The unit defrosts automatically on a timer, or the operator can start a manual defrost cycle when needed. The door seals with a magnetic gasket that lifts away for washing.
The casing is stainless steel, including a 40 mm worktop with a 50 mm rear upstand to contain spills. Polyurethane insulation 50 mm thick reduces heat gain and keeps the exterior cool to the touch. The compressor sits in a compartment on the left side, or optionally on the right, so the unit can be placed against a wall or in a run of counters. Leveling bolts adjust the height to keep the worktop level on uneven floors.
A 0.50 kW power rating means the counter draws a modest load from a standard 230 V single-phase circuit, suitable for most professional kitchens. The 290 L volume provides space for multiple GN1/1 containers, allowing bulk storage of prepped ingredients or plated dishes. The footprint of 1420 mm by 700 mm fits within a standard worktop depth and leaves room for adjacent equipment. The temperature range of +2 °C to +10 °C is designed for holding chilled food, not for freezing or blast-chilling.
Cleaning involves removing the rails, wiping the chamber with a damp cloth, and washing the magnetic gasket separately. The recessed floor prevents spills from spreading, and the smooth stainless surfaces allow quick sanitising. The compressor compartment is vented to the outside, so dust and grease should be cleared periodically to maintain airflow.
The counter is available with the compressor on the left or right side. It is designed for ambient temperatures up to +25 °C, matching typical kitchen conditions.
