ISO PLAST chairs are a practical and versatile solution for conference halls, hotels, educational institutions, and other public spaces. Their durable construction and well-thought-out design ensure comfortable and reliable everyday use.
A stacking chair built for frequent handling in professional catering, banqueting and event spaces. The ISO PLAST 0102 uses a steel frame to carry the load while keeping the weight low enough for staff to move and store the chairs quickly between services.
The principle is simple: a rigid frame of powder-coated steel takes the weight of seated users, while plastic seat and back panels provide comfort without adding bulk. The frame is shaped to nest with identical chairs above and below, so each chair locks into the next when stacked. This nesting design reduces the floor area needed for storage and makes it easier for one person to lift and carry several chairs at once.
To use the chair, staff lift it by the integrated handle in the backrest, carry it to the required position, and set it down. When the event ends, the same handle is used to lift the chair and stack it on top of another. The sequence is repeated until the stack reaches twelve chairs high. The low weight of 5.3 kg means that even the twelfth chair can be lifted without strain, and the stack remains stable during transport on a trolley or by hand.
Construction combines a steel frame with plastic seat and back panels. The steel is powder-coated to resist scratches and corrosion, while the plastic surfaces are smooth for easy cleaning. The black colour is standardised across the range, allowing the chairs to blend with most professional interiors.
The only control is the integrated handle, which doubles as a lifting point and a stacking guide. Its position in the upper backrest ensures that the chair hangs level when carried, preventing the seat from tipping forward.
The dimensions of 550 mm width, 570 mm depth and 810 mm height give a compact footprint that fits standard dining tables and banquet layouts. The weight of 5.3 kg allows one person to move the chair without assistance, and the stackable design reduces storage space to one twelfth of the floor area needed for twelve separate chairs.
Cleaning follows from the materials: wipe the plastic seat and back with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and brush or vacuum the steel frame to remove dust. The powder-coated finish prevents moisture from reaching the metal, so the chair can be cleaned daily without risk of rust.
The ISO PLAST 0102 is a single model in black. It stacks with other chairs of the same article number up to twelve high.
The chair is listed in the BHS.LV catalogue under seating for professional catering and event use.
