BHS.LV NAPOLEON 500 Stackable Polypropylene Chair

A stackable chair built for frequent movement between events, the NAPOLEON 500 combines a rigid seat and backrest in one moulded piece. Polypropylene is chosen for its balance of strength and lightness: it resists impacts, flexes without cracking, and carries the load of seated guests without sagging over time. The material also shrugs off moisture, so the chair can be used outdoors in rain or dew and brought back inside without warping or staining.

To stack, the operator lifts the chair by its seat edge, tilts it slightly forward so the front legs clear the backrest of the chair below, and lowers it straight down. The legs nest into the seat pan of the chair beneath, and the backrests align in a single column. Eleven chairs form a stable tower that can be wheeled on a trolley or carried by two people, reducing storage footprint between events.

The chair is supplied in white; a champagne finish is available on the NAPOLEON 700 variant. Both colours are moulded through the full thickness of the polypropylene, so scratches or scuffs remain less visible than on a painted surface. The seat and backrest are smooth and slightly contoured, allowing air to circulate and reducing the risk of sticking in humid conditions.

Controls are limited to the user's posture: the chair has no moving parts, no levers or knobs. The operator simply places it on a level floor, ensuring all four legs make contact to prevent rocking.

A weight of 3.9 kg means a single person can carry two chairs at once, one in each hand, without strain. The footprint of 380 mm depth by 420 mm width fits standard banquet tables and allows comfortable spacing for diners. The 930 mm overall height positions the seat at a standard dining level, matching most worktops and hobs.

Cleaning follows from the material: warm water with mild detergent removes food spills and fingerprints; a soft cloth or sponge avoids scratching the surface. The chair can be wiped down in place or stacked and cleaned in batches. Polypropylene does not absorb odours, so repeated washing does not leave a lingering smell.
