A table base provides a stable, adjustable foundation for worktops in professional kitchens, allowing operators to set the height that suits the task and the user. The base transfers the weight of the top, equipment and ingredients to the floor without flexing, while the column raises the work surface to a comfortable working level. This design keeps the worktop steady during chopping, plating or assembly, and the open space beneath allows staff to stand close without obstruction.

The A-15-720-700 is supplied as a flat-pack for self-assembly. The operator unpacks the base ring, the central column, the upper mounting plate and the necessary screws. The column slots into the base ring and is secured with the supplied hardware; the mounting plate is then fixed to the top of the column. Once assembled, the base stands 730 mm high and accepts worktops up to 700 mm in diameter. The 250 mm square mounting plate, 3 mm thick, provides a secure platform for the top; screws to attach the top are not included and must be chosen to suit the material of the worktop.

The base ring and column are made of chrome-plated steel for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. The upper mounting plate is black painted steel, offering a contrasting surface that helps to conceal scratches. The base ring is available in two thicknesses—1.4 mm or 2.0 mm—allowing the operator to choose the balance between weight and rigidity. The entire unit weighs 5 kg, making it light enough to move by one person yet stable once the worktop is in place.

A footprint of 430 mm diameter means the base occupies minimal floor space, an advantage in compact kitchens. The height of 730 mm places the work surface at a standard ergonomic level for standing tasks, reducing strain during prolonged use. The maximum top diameter of 700 mm allows for generous work areas while keeping the base proportionate.

Cleaning is straightforward: the chrome-plated and painted surfaces can be wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The open construction prevents dirt from accumulating in corners, and the absence of moving parts means no lubrication or adjustment is required. For environments where additional stability is needed, a 4.0 kg cast iron weight can be added to the base. For glass worktops, a round aluminium adapter is available to ensure secure mounting.

Variants include different heights and colours from the RAL palette, allowing the base to be matched to kitchen aesthetics or adjusted for specific tasks. The base is designed for self-assembly, with all parts and hardware included except for the screws to attach the worktop.
