BHS.LV Table Base B-59 for Professional Worktops

A sturdy table base raises a worktop to a comfortable working height without legs that obstruct movement underneath. The B-59 supports a flat surface on a single central column, leaving the area below clear for staff to stand close or for mobile trolleys to slide in and out. Four adjustable feet level the base on uneven floors, preventing wobble and keeping the worktop stable during food preparation.

The base arrives in separate parts for self-assembly. A cast-iron disc forms the foundation, spreading the load across the floor. A steel column rises from the centre of the disc, ending in a square steel mounting plate that receives the worktop. Four adjustable feet screw into the underside of the cast-iron disc, allowing fine levelling once the base is in position. The operator places the parts together, secures them with the supplied screws, and attaches the feet before fitting the worktop.

Black painted cast iron gives the base its weight and stability, while black painted steel provides the column and mounting plate. The mounting plate measures 250 mm square and is 3 mm thick, offering a secure platform for tops up to 800 mm square. No screws for fixing the worktop to the plate are included, so the operator selects fasteners suitable for the top material.

The assembled base stands 730 mm high, a standard worktop height in professional kitchens. Its footprint is 480 mm square, a compact size that fits into tight spaces while still supporting an 800 mm worktop. At 9.5 kg, the base is light enough for one person to carry and position, yet heavy enough to resist accidental knocks during service.

Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the painted surfaces with a damp cloth to remove dust and spills. The adjustable feet can be removed for thorough cleaning underneath, and the cast-iron base can be lifted to sweep or mop the floor.

Variants available include different heights and colours from the RAL palette, and an optional 4 kg cast-iron weight for additional stability.
