A table base creates a stable, adjustable platform for a worktop in a professional kitchen. The base stands on the floor, bearing the weight of the top and everything placed on it. Four adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors, preventing wobble and spills. The column connects the base to the top mount, transferring the load downward. A flat top mount provides a secure surface for the worktop, while screws or bolts fix the two together. This construction allows the worktop to be removed, replaced or moved without altering the base itself.
The C-10 base arrives in parts for self-assembly. The operator fits the column into the base, attaches the two mounting plates, and secures the top mount to the column. Four adjustable feet screw into the base corners. Once assembled, the base is positioned where the worktop will sit, the feet are adjusted to level it, and the worktop is placed on the mount. No screws for fixing the worktop are included, so the operator selects fasteners suitable for the worktop material and thickness.
The base and column are made of black painted steel, chosen for its strength and resistance to kitchen moisture. The top mount is also black painted steel, 250 mm square and 3 mm thick, providing a flat, rigid surface for the worktop. The base footprint is 710 mm deep by 380 mm wide, with a 76 mm high base plate and an overall height of 730 mm. This footprint and height create a compact unit that fits under standard worktops without crowding the floor space.
The base supports worktops up to 700 mm by 1200 mm, allowing a range of prep surfaces, sinks or equipment to be mounted. The 12 kg weight makes the base light enough to move by one person, yet heavy enough to remain stable once assembled. Adjustable feet allow fine levelling on any kitchen floor, while the painted finish resists scratches and corrosion from daily use.
Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the painted steel surfaces with a damp cloth to remove dust and spills. The adjustment feet can be cleaned with a brush to clear debris that might affect levelling. No special maintenance is required beyond occasional tightening of the feet if they loosen over time.
Optional variants include different heights, colours from the RAL palette, and a 4 kg cast iron weight for added stability.
