The Mondo model heats water in an internal reservoir, then passes it through ground coffee held in a stainless steel filter pan. Gravity draws the water through the coffee bed, extracting flavour and aroma into the decanter below. Because the machine does not rely on mains water pressure, it can be placed anywhere a power socket is available, making it suitable for temporary setups, outdoor events or kitchens where plumbing is impractical.

To operate, the user fills the reservoir manually with fresh water. A clear indicator shows the fill level, preventing overfilling. The machine is then switched on, and the heating element brings the water to brewing temperature. Once ready, the water is released over the coffee grounds in the filter pan.
