A shipboard coffee brewer designed to keep decanters steady in rough conditions, the BRAVILOR BONOMAT MONDO produces a full batch in five minutes. Hot water is forced through ground coffee in a filter pan, extracting flavour and aroma while leaving grounds behind. The brewed coffee collects in a stainless steel decanter that sits on a dedicated rack, preventing spills when the vessel rolls or pitches.

To start, the operator fills the internal reservoir manually with fresh water, then places a paper filter and the correct dose of coffee in the filter pan. The machine is switched on, and the heating element brings the water to brewing temperature. Once the cycle begins, hot water is sprayed evenly over the coffee bed, dripping through into the decanter below. A single brew completes in five minutes, after which the decanter can be removed and served while the next batch is prepared.

The construction is built for marine use: stainless steel decanters resist corrosion and are easy to clean, while the decanter racks lock the vessels in place without tools. A fixation set secures the brewer itself to the worktop, ensuring the unit does not shift during heavy weather. The filter pan and all contact surfaces are also stainless steel, maintaining hygiene and durability.

Controls are minimal: an on-off switch starts the brewing cycle, and an indicator light confirms power. The machine operates on either 230 V single-phase or 110-127 V, allowing connection to standard shipboard electrical systems without additional transformers.

The 2.14 kW power rating reflects the load the brewer places on the circuit, requiring a dedicated supply capable of handling the start-up surge. The footprint of 195 mm depth, 406 mm width and 446 mm height fits compact galley workstations while leaving space for the decanter and accessories. The manual water fill eliminates the need for a permanent plumbing connection, simplifying installation in temporary or remote locations.

Cleaning involves rinsing the decanters and filter pan after each use, and periodically descaling the internal water path to prevent mineral build-up. The stainless steel surfaces wipe clean with a damp cloth, and the filter pan is removable for thorough washing.

The MONDO is supplied complete with stainless steel decanters, filter pan, decanter racks and fixation set, ready for immediate installation on board.
