A packaged food warmer keeps pre-cooked meals, cartons and eggs at serving temperature without drying or overcooking. It circulates warm air around the containers, transferring heat evenly through the walls of the tray or carton. Because the heat is gentle and indirect, the food stays moist and the texture remains close to freshly cooked. The method is simpler than a bain-marie or a hot cupboard, yet gives the same steady warmth that a busy kitchen needs for service or for holding food before plating.
The operator loads up to three GN1/3 trays or cartons into the three baskets, and up to eight eggs into the numbered holders on the lid. The lid is closed, the On/Off switch is turned on, and the temperature is set between 40 °C and 100 °C. A safety thermostat cuts power if the temperature rises above the set point, preventing overheating. Once the warmer reaches the chosen temperature, it holds it until the switch is turned off and the food is removed.
The unit is built in stainless steel, which resists corrosion and is easy to clean. Three baskets hold the cartons, and eight numbered egg holders on the lid keep eggs separate and visible. The warmer takes a standard 230 V single-phase supply, the same circuit used for most counter-top appliances in a professional kitchen. Its footprint of 466 mm by 240 mm fits on a worktop or a shelf, and the 5.3 kg weight allows one person to move it without a trolley.
Cleaning is done after the unit has cooled. The baskets and egg holders lift out for washing in a sink or dishwasher. The interior and exterior stainless steel surfaces are wiped with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then dried to prevent water marks.
