An electric fryer heats a measured volume of oil with an immersed heating element. The oil transfers heat rapidly to food lowered in a basket, cooking it evenly and quickly without drying the surface. A thermostat keeps the oil at the set temperature, so each batch starts at the same point and finishes in the same time. The oil stays hot between batches, cutting the wait between loads.
The operator fills the 10 L basin with oil, sets the thermostat between 60 °C and 190 °C, and switches the fryer on. A heating indicator light shows when the element is active. Once the oil reaches the chosen temperature, the basket is loaded with food and lowered into the oil. After the set cooking time, the basket is lifted out and drained. The tilting element can be raised for cleaning, and the drain tap empties the oil without spills.
The body, lid and control panel are made of stainless steel. The heating element tilts for access, and a safety thermostat cuts power if the oil overheats. The adjustable thermostat sets the cooking temperature, and the drain tap allows the oil to be removed without lifting the unit.
The 3.6 kW power rating means the fryer draws a steady load on a dedicated 230 V circuit. The 285 x 745 x 456 mm footprint fits on a standard worktop, and the 10 kg weight allows it to be moved by one person. The 10 L basin holds enough oil for small to medium batches, and the 215 x 315 x 140 mm basket sizes portions for single servings.
Cleaning involves raising the tilting element, draining the oil through the tap, and wiping the stainless steel surfaces. The basket is washed separately. The adjustable thermostat and safety thermostat require no regular maintenance beyond checking the indicator light.
The CFEV10B is a single-basin fryer with a 10 L capacity and a drain tap. It is listed in the Casselin counter-top fryer range.
