A conveyor toaster carries slices through a heated tunnel on a moving belt, exposing each side to radiant elements in turn. The method eliminates manual flipping, keeps output steady and colour uniform, and scales from a single rack of toast to a full breakfast service without stopping.
Load the slices into the 160 mm-wide feed slot; the belt draws them through the chamber. Set the thermostat to the desired browning level and adjust the belt speed to match the volume of bread. A selector button switches between one or two heating elements, reducing power when the load is light. The indicator light confirms the elements are live. Toast emerges continuously at the far end, ready for plating.
The body is stainless steel throughout, with an On/Off switch, a rotary thermostat and a separate speed control for the belt. A push-button toggles between one and two elements to save energy during slower periods.
The 1.8 kW rating draws a single-phase 230 V supply, typical of a standard kitchen circuit. The 15.5 kg weight allows one person to position the unit on a worktop or mobile stand. The footprint of 280 mm depth by 608 mm width fits between cupboards or against a wall, leaving space for a drip tray beneath the exit slot.
Cleaning is limited to the belt and the interior surfaces. Wipe the belt with a damp cloth after each service; remove crumbs from the catch tray daily. The stainless steel housing can be wiped down with a mild detergent, avoiding abrasives that could scratch the finish.
The XS model is the smallest in the Casselin conveyor-toaster range, designed for cafés, small hotels and catering operations that need continuous output without occupying a full metre of counter space.
The product appears in the Casselin catalogue under Continuous Toasters, Small-Capacity Models.
