Casselin CRE Electric Stove with Six Heat Levels

An electric stove heats a solid metal plate with an internal element. The element draws current, converts it to heat, and the plate spreads that heat evenly across its surface. Because the plate is thick and dense, it holds heat well and responds quickly when the setting changes, giving consistent temperatures for frying, sautéing or holding food warm.

The operator places a pan or pot on the 185 mm stainless steel plate, selects one of six temperature levels up to 500 °C, and waits for the indicator light to show the plate has reached the chosen setting. Once the light goes out, the plate is ready; the light returns when the element cycles back on to maintain temperature. After use, the control is turned to zero and the stove is left to cool before cleaning.

The body is stainless steel throughout, chosen for resistance to corrosion and easy cleaning. The plate diameter of 185 mm suits standard small to medium pans. Six temperature levels allow fine control over cooking processes, while the 1.8 kW power rating matches a single-phase 230 V circuit common in professional kitchens.

A footprint of 285 by 400 mm fits neatly on a worktop or shelf, and the 131 mm height keeps the cooking surface at a comfortable working level. The 5.5 kg weight allows the stove to be moved by one person when the kitchen is reorganised.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel plate and body with a damp cloth once the stove has cooled. The indicator light confirms the stove is off and safe to handle. No additional maintenance is required beyond routine wiping and ensuring the power connection remains secure.
