A sauce holder keeps hot or cold sauces within reach on the worktop without cluttering the hob or bain-marie. Three porcelain jars sit in a steel frame that raises them above spills and keeps them stable while ladles are dipped. The jars are non-reactive, so acidic or alkaline sauces do not taint the flavour or corrode the surface, and their smooth glaze makes wiping quick after service.
The operator fills each jar with up to half a litre of sauce, places the ladle in the jar, and sets the holder on the worktop near the pass or plating station. The frame's low profile allows it to slide under most heat lamps or shelves, and the black epoxy finish resists chipping from daily knocks and splashes.
The frame is made of steel coated with black epoxy paint for durability and easy cleaning. Each jar is porcelain, 100 mm in diameter and 123 mm tall, with a 0.5 L capacity. The overall footprint of 380 by 187 mm fits neatly between standard gastronorm pans or on a narrow counter, while the 210 mm height keeps the jars at a comfortable working level. The 3.2 kg weight allows the unit to be moved by hand when the kitchen is reorganised for a different service.
Cleaning is straightforward: the jars lift out for washing in a sink or dishwasher, and the steel frame can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The epoxy coating prevents rust if the frame is left to air-dry after washing.
The Casselin CSAS1 is a single model with three identical jars, supplied as a complete unit.
