A hot display unit keeps prepared fast-food items at serving temperature without further cooking. Two electric heating elements beneath the shelves generate radiant warmth that rises through the grids, maintaining an even heat across the surface. The adjustable thermostat allows the operator to set the exact warmth needed for different products, preventing drying or cooling while the food waits for service.
To use the unit, the operator first positions the two waste collecting pans at the base of each shelf. The removable grids are placed on top, creating a level surface for trays or containers. After switching on the lamps with the two On/Off switches, the thermostat is set to the desired temperature, up to 70 °C. Once the shelves reach the set point, the food is loaded directly onto the grids. The independent heating controls let one shelf be used while the other remains off, saving energy when only part of the display is needed.
The construction is stainless steel throughout, chosen for its resistance to heat, moisture and cleaning chemicals. The two On/Off switches control the internal lamps, ensuring the food is clearly visible to customers. The adjustable thermostat governs the heating elements, allowing precise temperature management. Removable grids simplify loading and unloading, while the waste pans catch any drips or crumbs, keeping the counter tidy.
A power rating of 2.8 kW indicates the load the unit places on a single-phase 230 V circuit, typical for a fast-food counter. The 1500 mm width provides space for multiple trays or containers, fitting standard fast-food counter layouts. The 74 kg weight means the unit is moved with a trolley or by two people, and once in place it remains stable on the worktop. The 600 mm depth allows it to sit against a wall or back-to-back with another unit without overhanging the counter edge.
Cleaning involves removing the grids and waste pans, wiping down the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then drying to prevent water marks. The heating elements and thermostat require no maintenance beyond checking that the controls respond smoothly. No other parts are present to clean or service.
The unit is supplied as a single model with no variants or optional extras.
