The machine heats water in a copper boiler, which retains and distributes heat evenly. A pressure control valve maintains the optimal temperature throughout the brewing cycle, preventing fluctuations that could affect extraction quality. Water is delivered by a volumetric motor pump fitted with two retention valves and a particulate filter, ensuring consistent flow and protecting the system from debris.

Operation begins by loading fresh coffee into the portafilter and securing it into the brew group head. The operator selects a pre-programmed dose or sets a custom portion size using the programmable controls. Extraction starts with a gentle pre-infusion phase, followed by full pressure to complete the shot. A hot water tap and stainless steel steam wand allow the preparation of milk-based drinks and teas without switching appliances. An automatic rinse cycle cleans the brew group after each use, reducing manual upkeep.
