6 stainless steel tubular spits 12 x 12 mm, 760 mm
A gas chicken grill rotates food vertically on spits, exposing every side to radiant heat from the burners. The vertical arrangement lets fat drip away from the meat instead of pooling beneath it, so the skin crisps evenly and the meat stays juicy. Each spit turns independently, allowing different cuts or birds to cook at their own pace without cross-contamination or flavour transfer.
Load the six tubular stainless steel spits with whole chickens, kebabs or joints, then slide them into the guides. Set the gas valve for each spit to the desired flame height and start the motor. The 230 V motor turns the spits at a steady speed, while the Low-E tempered glass door lets you watch the colour develop without opening the cabinet. When the skin is golden and the core temperature is reached, lift the spits out and rest the meat before carving.
The cabinet is built from ribbed and reinforced stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and thermal stress. A removable fat collection bucket sits below the spits, catching drippings for easy disposal. Interior lighting improves visibility and gives the unit a professional finish.
The 24 kW gas input provides enough heat to maintain even cooking across all six spits, while the 921 mm width fits neatly into a compact kitchen footprint. The 230 V supply matches standard UK commercial circuits, so no special wiring is needed. The 1220 mm height allows the grill to stand on a worktop or counter without requiring additional clearance above.
Cleaning follows the construction: wipe the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth, remove and wash the fat bucket, and brush the spits to clear any residue. The glass door can be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaner to maintain visibility.
The 24P6-ELBA is part of the Elangrill Elba series, designed for small to medium-scale production where space and flexibility are priorities.
