6 stainless steel tubular spits 12 x 12 mm, 960 mm
A vertical gas chicken grill rotates food on spits above a flame, exposing every side to even heat. The spits turn slowly, basting the meat in its own juices while the skin crisps without drying out.
The 36P-ELBA gas grill loads six stainless steel spits through the front opening. Each spit is controlled separately, so different items can cook at once without flavour transfer. The operator sets the gas flow for each burner, then starts the motor; the spits rotate while the Low-E tempered glass door keeps the heat in and lets staff watch progress. A removable fat collection bucket catches drippings, reducing flare-ups and simplifying cleaning.
Construction is ribbed and reinforced stainless steel, chosen for strength and resistance to corrosion in a busy kitchen. The 12×12 mm tubular spits run the full 960 mm length of the cooking chamber, giving enough space for multiple birds or larger cuts. Interior lighting improves visibility without opening the door, preserving heat and cooking consistency.
Controls include individual gas valves for each spit and a single 230 V motor switch. The valves adjust the flame intensity, while the motor keeps the spits turning at a steady speed. No timers or thermostats are fitted; the operator monitors cooking by sight and experience.
The 1121 mm width, 391 mm depth and 1220 mm height create a compact footprint that fits against a wall or between worktops. At 135 kg the grill is heavy enough to stay stable during operation but can still be moved with a trolley. The 28 kg power rating refers to the maximum gas load the grill can draw, indicating the size of gas bottle or supply line needed.
Cleaning involves removing the fat bucket, wiping the spits and interior surfaces with a damp cloth, and occasionally brushing the burners to clear any blockages. The tempered glass door can be lifted off for deeper cleaning, while the stainless steel exterior resists stains and fingerprints.
The 36P-ELBA is part of the Elangrill Elba series, designed for small and medium-scale production where space and flexibility matter.
