Spit discs hold meat securely on a rotisserie spit, preventing it from shifting as the rod turns. The disc presses against the joint or cut, distributing pressure evenly so the weight stays balanced around the axis. This balance keeps the spit rotating smoothly without wobble, which would otherwise cause uneven cooking and strain the motor.
To use, the operator slides the disc onto the spit rod before threading the meat. Once the meat is positioned, a second disc is added to the opposite end and tightened against the load. The discs remain in place throughout the cooking cycle, holding the meat firmly while the spit turns continuously.
Elangrill DFS discs are designed for compatibility with standard rotisserie spits used in professional grills, roasters and spit systems. Their construction suits the heat and mechanical demands of commercial kitchens, where spits run for extended periods under high temperatures.
These discs fit Elangrill rotisserie equipment and are also used as replacement parts in other professional-grade spit systems where the same rod diameter and disc design are specified.
