Strong stainless steel construction, safe multi-burner, precise temperature control, and automatic spit rotation guarantee perfectly cooked meat every time. An ideal solution for professional kitchens.
A churrasco grill roasts meat on rotating spits, exposing every side to radiant heat for even cooking and a crisp exterior. Electric heating elements replace gas flames, allowing precise temperature control without open combustion. The heat surrounds the spits, browning the meat while the rotation keeps it from drying out. Built-in lighting illuminates the food, making it easier to monitor doneness and enhancing presentation for customers.
The operator loads each of the nine 50 cm spits with meat, securing it with the stainless steel forks provided. The spits are then mounted onto the grill's rotating rods, each driven by its own motor and gearbox for smooth, independent rotation. The heating elements are switched on and set to the desired temperature using the regulators. As the meat cooks, fat drips into the removable stainless steel tray below, reducing flare-ups and simplifying cleanup. Two racks at the front of the grill hold additional items or keep cooked meat warm while the rest finishes.
The grill's frame is constructed from ribbed and reinforced stainless steel, designed to withstand the weight of multiple spits and the heat of continuous use. The heating elements are embedded within the structure, protected by the same durable material. A multigas burner with a safety valve is included, though the electric model relies on its heating elements for operation. The removable fat collection tray and spits are also made of stainless steel, ensuring hygiene and resistance to corrosion.
Controls include temperature regulators for the heating elements, allowing the operator to adjust the heat output for different cuts of meat. Each spit's motor is controlled independently, so one can be stopped or removed without affecting the others. The built-in interior lighting is operated by a separate switch, providing visibility during evening service or in dimly lit kitchens.
A power rating of 10.09 kW indicates the load the grill places on a 400 V three-phase electrical supply, typical for commercial kitchens with high-demand equipment. The 900 mm width and 570 mm depth determine the counter or floor space required, while the 720 mm height allows for comfortable operation without stooping. At 50 kg, the grill is heavy enough to remain stable during use but can still be moved with a trolley or two people.
Cleaning involves removing the fat collection tray and spits for washing in a sink or dishwasher. The stainless steel surfaces can be wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the heating elements and motors require occasional dusting to maintain airflow and efficiency. The ribbed frame design minimises trapped grease and makes it easier to reach all areas during cleaning.
The CM9-E is supplied with nine 50 cm stainless steel spits, two racks, and a removable fat tray. It is classified as a professional electric churrasco grill, suitable for restaurants, catering services, and events where large quantities of spit-roasted meat are prepared.
