Strong stainless steel construction, safe multi-burner, precise temperature control, and automatic spit rotation guarantee perfectly cooked meat every time. An ideal solution for professional kitchens.
An electric charcoal grill recreates the flavour and sear of open-flame cooking while giving precise control over heat. Instead of burning charcoal or gas directly beneath the food, heating elements warm a bed of ceramic briquettes that radiate consistent, smokeless heat. The result is even browning and a charred crust without the flare-ups or ash of a traditional grill. A temperature regulator adjusts the element output, letting the chef hold the exact degree needed for each cut of meat or skewer of vegetables.
The Elangrill CM13-E is built for continuous service in a professional kitchen. Thirteen stainless steel spits, each 50 cm long, rotate independently on separate gearbox motors, so each spit can be loaded, started and removed without disturbing the others. A ribbed stainless steel frame supports the weight of the spits and the food, while a multigas burner with a safety valve provides the primary heat source. Interior lighting illuminates the cooking area, making it easier to monitor doneness and present the food attractively.
To operate the grill, the chef first loads the ceramic briquettes onto the heating bed and sets the temperature regulator to the desired level. Once the briquettes reach the target heat, the spits are loaded with food and secured. Each spit motor is switched on individually; the gearbox ensures smooth, steady rotation. A removable stainless steel fat collection tray sits beneath the spits, catching drippings for easy disposal. Two stainless steel racks at the side hold raw or finished product, keeping the worktop organised.
The supporting structure is made of reinforced stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress. The 13 spits and the fat tray are also stainless steel, ensuring durability and quick cleaning. The built-in lighting uses energy-efficient bulbs that remain cool to the touch.
A power rating of 12.03 kW indicates the load the grill places on the electrical supply; it requires a 400 V three-phase circuit, the standard for heavy-duty catering equipment. The 60 kg weight means the unit is moved on a trolley or with two people, while the 1100 × 570 × 720 mm footprint shows the space it occupies on the worktop or floor.
Cleaning is straightforward: the fat tray and spits are removed and washed in a sink or dishwasher. The ceramic briquettes are brushed free of ash and grease, and the stainless steel surfaces are wiped with a damp cloth. The independent motors and gearboxes are sealed units that require no lubrication.
The CM13-E is a single model; no variants are listed. It is categorised under electric charcoal grills in the Elangrill professional range.
