Strong stainless steel construction, safe multi-burner, precise temperature control, and automatic spit rotation guarantee perfectly cooked meat every time. An ideal solution for professional kitchens.
An electric grill that delivers the authentic taste and searing of charcoal without the smoke or ash, the Elangrill Churrasco CM29-E rotates 29 spits over powerful heating elements. The elements heat a bed of ceramic briquettes or lava stones, radiating intense, even heat that crisps the exterior of meats while sealing in juices. A fan circulates the hot air, mimicking the updraught of a live fire and distributing the heat across every spit. The result is the charred, smoky flavour associated with traditional charcoal grilling, achieved indoors with consistent temperature control and no open flame.
The sequence begins by loading each of the 29 stainless steel spits with skewered meats, poultry or vegetables. The spits are then slotted into the motorised cradles, where independent gearbox motors start a slow, steady rotation. The operator sets the desired temperature on the regulator, and the elements bring the cooking chamber up to heat. Interior lighting illuminates the food, allowing the chef to monitor colour and doneness without opening the grill. As the spits turn, fat and juices drip onto the ceramic bed, vaporising and basting the food in its own flavours. A removable stainless steel tray beneath the cooking area collects excess fat, preventing flare-ups and simplifying cleanup.
The grill stands on a ribbed and reinforced stainless steel frame that resists warping and corrosion under constant use. The heating elements, safety valve and temperature regulators are housed within this structure, while three stainless steel racks above the spits provide organised storage for ingredients or finished dishes. Each component that touches food or grease is made of stainless steel, ensuring hygiene and durability.
Controls include a main power switch, a temperature regulator for the heating elements, and individual on-off switches for each of the 29 spit motors. The temperature regulator allows precise adjustment of the heat output, accommodating everything from slow-roasted poultry to quickly seared kebabs. The independent motors let the operator rotate only the spits that are loaded, saving energy and reducing wear.
The 400 V three-phase supply delivers the 18.23 kW power required to maintain high temperatures across the entire cooking surface, making it suitable for commercial kitchens with adequate electrical infrastructure. The 120 kg weight ensures stability during operation, while the 1400 mm width provides ample space for 29 spits without crowding. The 570 mm depth fits neatly against a worktop or wall, and the 900 mm height allows easy loading and unloading without stooping.
Cleaning involves removing the fat collection tray and washing it in a sink or dishwasher. The ceramic briquettes or lava stones can be brushed clean or replaced when they become encrusted. The spits and racks are dishwasher-safe, and the stainless steel surfaces of the grill can be wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The independent motors and gearboxes require no daily maintenance beyond checking that they are free of grease build-up.
The CM29-E is a single model with no variants. It is classified in the professional catering catalogue under electric grills, specifically charcoal-effect models.
