A vertical cooking grill uses radiant elements on both sides of a central food chamber to cook meats, poultry and vegetables evenly without turning. The heat source is fixed behind grates or ceramic plates, directing infrared energy straight at the food. This method sears the surface quickly, locking in juices while the interior cooks through without drying out. Because the elements face each other, the food receives heat from two directions at once, cutting cooking time and reducing the need for rotation.
The operator loads skewers, racks or baskets with food and slides them into the vertical chamber. A timer or manual switch starts the elements; the operator watches for the desired colour and texture, then removes the food without opening the chamber repeatedly. The design keeps the worktop clear, as the unit stands upright rather than spreading across the surface.
Cleaning follows from the exposed elements and grates: after cooling, the operator wipes down the ceramic or metal surfaces and removes any food debris from the drip tray beneath the chamber.
The VC-ELBA is a vertical cooking grill from Elangrill, designed for professional kitchens where space is limited and consistent grilling is required.
