| NOTES | Off-cycle defrost; A energy efficiency class |
Professional refrigerator made of AISI 304 stainless steel with forced air circulation, ensuring a uniform temperature of 0…+8 °C throughout the chamber. Equipped with electronic controls, ECO function, HACCP alarm system and LED lighting; defrosting is performed by stopping the compressor.
A glass-door display refrigerator built for high-traffic professional kitchens, the FAGOR AUP-11G GD keeps chilled food visible while maintaining a stable temperature between 0 and 8 °C. Instead of a timed defrost cycle that interrupts cooling, the unit relies on off-cycle defrost: when the thermostat senses the set point has been reached, the compressor stops and any frost on the evaporator melts naturally during the idle period. This method eliminates the need for heaters inside the cabinet, reducing energy use and avoiding temperature spikes that can shorten the shelf life of fresh ingredients. The sequence of use is straightforward. After the unit is levelled on its adjustable stainless-steel legs, the operator loads up to three removable GN 2/1 epoxy-coated shelves. The shelves slide on 24 adjustable positions spaced 55 mm apart, allowing the interior to be reconfigured for different tray heights or loose items. Once the door is closed, the forced-air system circulates chilled air evenly across every shelf, ensuring that every item is exposed to the same temperature. The electronic control panel with digital display lets the user set the desired temperature, activate the ECO energy-saving mode, and review any HACCP alarms that may have been logged during operation. Construction is entirely AISI 304 stainless steel inside and out, with rounded internal corners to minimise dirt traps. A 80 mm layer of high-density polyurethane insulation surrounds the cabinet, reducing cold loss and maintaining stability even when the kitchen is busy. The double-glazed door has an electric anti-condensation heater in the frame to keep the glass clear, and an automatic closing mechanism to prevent cold air spilling out each time the door is opened. A built-in drainage system collects any melted frost or spills and channels them to an external outlet, simplifying daily cleaning. The 610 L volume provides ample space for GN 2/1 gastronorm trays or loose products, while the 693 mm width and 856 mm depth fit standard worktop layouts. At 152 kg, the unit is heavy enough to remain stable but can still be moved with a pallet truck or trolley. The 0.361 kW cooling power and A energy-efficiency rating translate to a low electrical load on the kitchen circuit, and the 220–240 V 50 Hz voltage matches the standard UK single-phase supply. Refrigerant R600a/R290 is pre-charged, with an optional top-up kit available if additional gas is ever required. Stainless-steel interior and rounded corners let you wipe down every surface in minutes after a busy service without trapping food debris or moisture. The stainless-steel interior and epoxy-coated shelves can be wiped down with standard kitchen sanitiser, while the rounded corners and sloped drainage channel prevent standing water. The removable shelves make it easier to reach every surface, and the adjustable legs allow the unit to be tilted slightly for thorough cleaning underneath. No special tools or chemicals are needed beyond what is already used in a professional kitchen. The model is supplied as a single version, with Fagor Konnect compatibility available for remote monitoring where required.
