Professional refrigerator made of AISI 304 stainless steel with forced air circulation, ensuring a uniform temperature of 0…+8 °C throughout the chamber. Equipped with electronic controls, ECO function, HACCP alarm system and LED lighting; defrosting is performed by stopping the compressor.
A commercial display refrigerator built for high-traffic kitchens, the FAGOR AUP-22G GD holds chilled food behind two glass doors while keeping it visible to staff and customers. The unit relies on a refrigeration cycle that cools the interior by circulating air through an evaporator coil. When the compressor stops, the coil warms and any frost melts naturally, draining away without a separate heating element. This off-cycle defrost method reduces energy spikes and simplifies maintenance in busy service periods.
Inside, a forced-air system pushes cold air evenly across every shelf, maintaining a steady temperature between 0 and +8 °C. The operator loads food onto six removable GN 2/1 epoxy-coated shelves, each adjustable in 55 mm increments to fit different container heights. An electronic control panel with a digital display sets the target temperature, while an ECO mode lowers energy use during quieter hours. The built-in HACCP logging system records temperature alarms and power interruptions, storing up to ten events for later review.
The cabinet is constructed entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel, inside and out, with rounded corners and sloped surfaces that prevent dirt traps and speed cleaning. A 80 mm layer of high-density polyurethane insulation keeps the cold in, even when the doors are opened frequently. The two double-glazed doors are heated electrically to stop condensation forming on the glass, and they close automatically to minimise cold-air loss. Adjustable stainless-steel legs level the unit on uneven floors and allow mopping underneath.
A 1332 L volume provides space for large quantities of prepped ingredients or plated dishes, while the 1358 mm width fits standard worktop depths. The 310 kg weight requires a solid floor and a trolley for moving. The 0.436 kW cooling power draws from a 220-240 V 50 Hz single-phase supply, typical of commercial kitchen circuits. Removable shelves and an integrated drainage system simplify daily cleaning, and the epoxy coating resists corrosion from spills and frequent handling.
The model is available in a 60 Hz version with refrigerant R600a and a 0.437 kW cooling capacity. The C energy-efficiency rating reflects the balance between performance and power consumption in continuous use.
