Professional Snack 1200 freezer made of stainless steel with forced-air circulation, ensuring a uniform temperature of -18…-22 °C throughout the cabinet. The unit is equipped with electronic control and LED lighting. Defrosting is performed using an electric defrost system. Capacity – 1109 L.
A professional two-door freezer built for high-volume kitchens, the FAGOR CUN-22S holds frozen goods at a steady -22 °C. Its refrigeration cycle compresses and expands a hydrocarbon refrigerant, removing heat from the interior and rejecting it outside. The process runs continuously, keeping the air inside colder than the food so that any residual warmth is drawn out and the stock stays frozen solid. An electric defrost system periodically reverses the cycle on the evaporator coil, melting any ice that has formed without raising the cabinet temperature or interrupting service.
The operator loads the freezer through two full-height doors, each opening to reveal adjustable epoxy-coated shelves. The shelves slide on internal rails at 70 mm intervals, allowing the spacing to be tailored to trays, boxes or loose items. Once the doors are closed, the forced-air system circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, preventing hot spots and ensuring uniform freezing. An electronic control panel on the front sets the target temperature; an LED display shows the current reading and confirms the unit is running. Internal LED lighting switches on when either door opens, illuminating the entire chamber without adding heat.
The cabinet is constructed from stainless steel inside and out, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. A 50 mm layer of insulation surrounds the chamber, reducing heat gain and keeping the compressor workload low. Four adjustable legs raise the unit from 130 mm to 200 mm, allowing it to sit level on uneven floors or to clear a drainage channel. The refrigerant circuit uses R290, a hydrocarbon with low global-warming potential, and is rated for 50 Hz single-phase 220-240 V mains supply.
The 1109 L volume provides space for bulk storage of pre-prepared meals, frozen vegetables, ice cream or portioned proteins. The -22 °C temperature range is suitable for long-term storage of most frozen foods, while the electric defrost system eliminates the need for manual defrosting cycles. The 0.735 kW cooling power indicates the rate at which the unit can remove heat from the chamber, matching the demands of a busy kitchen environment. The 300 kg weight requires a solid floor and a trolley for initial positioning, but once in place the freezer remains stable during daily use.
Cleaning is straightforward: the shelves lift out for washing, and the smooth stainless-steel surfaces wipe down with a damp cloth. The forced-air system keeps the interior dry, reducing the risk of ice build-up between defrost cycles. The unit is supplied in a 60 Hz version as an optional variant, adding a small surcharge and using a different refrigerant charge.
The freezer is classified under energy efficiency class E and is designed to meet climate class 4, ensuring reliable operation in professional kitchens with ambient temperatures up to 40 °C.
