FAGOR CUN-23S Three-Door Upright Freezer with Electric Defrost

A three-door upright freezer built for high-volume professional kitchens, the FAGOR CUN-23S holds over a thousand litres of frozen goods at a steady -22 °C to -18 °C. The refrigeration cycle compresses and expands a hydrocarbon refrigerant, removing heat from the cabinet and rejecting it outside. Forced-air circulation then pushes the cold air evenly across every shelf, preventing hot spots and keeping every item at the same temperature regardless of position or loading level.

To start, the operator loads the shelves—each rated for 40 kg—with trays, boxes or loose product. The electronic control panel is set to the desired temperature within the -22 °C to -18 °C range, and the unit runs continuously, cycling the compressor on and off to maintain the set point. An electric defrost system periodically melts any ice that forms on the evaporator coils, draining the water away without manual intervention. LED lighting inside the cabinet gives a clear view of contents, while the three doors minimise cold-air loss each time the cabinet is opened.

The cabinet is constructed from stainless steel inside and out, with 50 mm of insulation sandwiched between the inner and outer skins.
