A four-door refrigerator built for high-volume food service keeps perishables at a steady chill without freezing. The unit relies on a compressor that circulates refrigerant through evaporator coils inside the cabinet. When the compressor runs, the coils absorb heat from the air, lowering the temperature to the set point. Off-cycle defrost stops the compressor at intervals, letting any frost that has formed on the coils melt away without external heat. This method avoids the temperature swings of electric defrost and keeps the stored items stable while using less energy than continuous cooling.

To use the refrigerator, the operator sets the desired temperature between 0 and 8 °C on the electronic control panel. The forced-air circulation system then distributes cold air evenly throughout the 1109 L interior, maintaining the same conditions in every corner. LED lighting switches on when any door is opened, giving a clear view of the contents. The adjustable shelves can be positioned at 70 mm increments, allowing the interior to be reconfigured for tall bottles, shallow trays or stacked containers. Each shelf is rated to hold up to 40 kg, and the epoxy-coated wire racks slide out for loading and unloading.

The exterior and interior are constructed from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning in a busy kitchen. A 50 mm layer of insulation surrounds the cabinet, reducing cold loss and helping the unit maintain temperature even when the ambient conditions are warm. Four doors divide the storage space into separate compartments, so only one section is exposed when an item is retrieved, minimising temperature fluctuations. Adjustable legs allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, with a height range from 130 to 200 mm.

The 220-240 V single-phase supply matches the standard circuit found in commercial kitchens, and the 0.436 kW cooling power indicates the load the refrigerator will place on that circuit. The 1109 L volume provides ample space for bulk storage, while the 300 kg weight means the unit will need to be positioned before delivery and moved only with a pallet truck or similar equipment. The 1388 mm width and 739 mm depth determine the floor space required, and the 2067 mm height sets the clearance needed above the unit.

Cleaning involves wiping down the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The shelves and racks can be removed for thorough washing, and the drain at the base of the cabinet should be checked periodically to ensure it remains clear. The off-cycle defrost system eliminates the need for manual defrosting, but the evaporator coils should be inspected occasionally for dust accumulation that could reduce efficiency.
