A dishwasher basket holds plates, glasses and cutlery in a fixed grid so that hot water and detergent reach every surface without items touching or blocking the spray arms. The grid lifts the load above the tank floor, letting water drain freely and preventing food debris from settling on the base. This arrangement speeds up cleaning and reduces the risk of re-soiling during the rinse cycle.

The operator loads the basket outside the machine, organising plates along the length and stacking smaller items in the centre. Once full, the basket slides into the dishwasher on runners or guides, aligning the load with the spray nozzles. After the wash programme finishes, the basket is pulled out and unloaded, ready for the next cycle.

This FAGOR basket is constructed from stainless steel wire, forming a rigid frame that resists corrosion and repeated exposure to hot water and detergents. The 1320 mm length allows two rows of standard dinner plates to be placed side by side, while the 700 mm width accommodates larger serving platters or multiple rows of smaller dishes. The 150 mm height provides clearance for taller items such as glasses or stacked bowls without exceeding the dishwasher's internal dimensions.

The 2 kg weight keeps the basket light enough to handle when fully loaded, reducing strain on the operator and on the dishwasher's sliding mechanism. The basket fits FAGOR WLP-130 dishwashers, replacing worn or damaged original baskets to restore full capacity and hygiene standards.

Cleaning involves rinsing the basket under a tap to remove food particles, then wiping with a non-abrasive cloth to prevent detergent residue build-up. The open wire design allows water to flow through, so no disassembly is required.
