Professional dual-temperature refrigeration unit made of stainless steel with forced-air circulation. The unit is divided into two independent compartments: a refrigerator with a temperature range of 0…+8 °C and a fish storage compartment with a temperature range of -2…-4 °C. Both compartments are equipped with independent refrigeration systems and electronic controls. The refrigerator compartment is defrosted by stopping the compressor, while the fish compartment uses an electric defrost system. The fish compartment is equipped with 3 sanitary PVC baskets designed for hygienic fish storage.
A professional refrigerator that maintains two independent temperature zones within a single cabinet, designed for high-volume catering environments. One zone cools to standard refrigeration temperatures, while the second holds a slightly colder range specifically for fresh fish, preventing ice formation that can damage texture and flavour. The system uses a refrigerant circulated by a compressor, absorbing heat from the interior and releasing it outside, creating a controlled cold environment. Forced-air circulation distributes cold air evenly across every shelf, eliminating hot spots and ensuring consistent temperatures throughout both compartments. The fish compartment employs an electric defrost cycle to remove frost build-up without manual intervention, while the main refrigeration zone uses an off-cycle defrost method, allowing frost to melt naturally during compressor rest periods.
To operate, the user loads products onto the adjustable GN 2/1 shelves in the main compartment or into the three sanitary PVC baskets in the fish zone. The electronic control panel allows separate temperature settings for each zone, with LED displays showing current readings. Once set, the system maintains temperatures automatically, with interior LED lighting providing clear visibility of stored items. The forced-air system continues to circulate cold air, while the compressor cycles on and off to sustain the target ranges. Shelves can be repositioned or removed to accommodate different product sizes, and the epoxy-coated surfaces resist corrosion from moisture and food acids.
The 596 litre capacity provides ample storage for a busy service period, while the 693 mm width and 826 mm depth allow integration into standard kitchen layouts. The 2008 mm height fits under most worktop canopies, and adjustable legs between 130 mm and 200 mm accommodate uneven floors. A 0.619 kW cooling power rating indicates the load placed on the electrical supply, requiring a dedicated 220-240 V single-phase circuit. The 152 kg weight reflects the robust stainless steel construction and thick 50 mm insulation, which reduces cold loss and improves energy efficiency. The R290 refrigerant is a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact, used here in a 60 Hz system.
Cleaning involves removing shelves and baskets for separate washing, while the stainless steel interior and exterior wipe clean with standard kitchen sanitisers. The epoxy-coated shelves resist staining and corrosion, and the PVC baskets are dishwasher-safe. The forced-air system minimises frost accumulation, but the electric defrost cycle in the fish compartment should be checked periodically to ensure proper drainage. The model is available in a 60 Hz version with a 0.796 kW cooling power rating, specified separately.
