The refrigerator works by circulating chilled air through a forced-convection system. A low-energy fan draws air across the evaporator coil, cooling it before distributing it evenly throughout the cabinet. The air then returns to the coil, completing a continuous loop that maintains a stable, uniform temperature. An electric defrost system periodically melts any frost that forms on the coil; the resulting water is evaporated automatically, so there is no tray to empty and no interruption to service.

Operation begins by loading bottles onto the shelves or hanging them from the optional hooks.
