| NOTES | Off-cycle defrost; B energy efficiency class |
Professional refrigerator made of AISI 304 stainless steel with a monoblock cooling system and forced-air circulation, ensuring a uniform temperature of 0…+8 °C throughout the cabinet. Equipped with electronic controls, HACCP alarm system and LED lighting; defrosting is performed by stopping the compressor, ensuring efficient and stable operation.
Two-door construction
A monoblock refrigeration unit removes heat from the cabinet by circulating refrigerant through a sealed system mounted as a single block on the back or top of the unit. The compressor pumps the refrigerant, which absorbs heat from inside the cabinet and releases it outside. Off-cycle defrost works by temporarily stopping the compressor, allowing the evaporator to warm naturally until any frost melts. This method avoids the need for heating elements, reducing energy use and simplifying maintenance while keeping the cabinet at a steady temperature for food storage.
The refrigerator is loaded by opening the two full-height doors and placing trays, pans or containers on the adjustable shelves. The shelves slide along vertical rails, allowing the spacing to be set in 60 mm increments to fit different sizes of gastronorm trays or loose items. Once loaded, the doors are closed and the electronic control panel is used to set the desired temperature between 0 and 8 °C. The internal fan circulates cold air evenly throughout the cabinet, maintaining the set temperature and preventing hot spots. An LED display shows the current temperature, and an integrated HACCP monitoring system logs the readings for food-safety compliance.
The cabinet is built from stainless steel inside and out, chosen for its resistance to corrosion, ease of cleaning and durability under constant use. The monoblock cooling unit is mounted on the top of the cabinet, leaving the interior free of obstructions and making the condenser accessible for cleaning. A 60 mm layer of insulation surrounds the cabinet to reduce heat transfer and keep the temperature stable. The doors are fitted with ergonomic handles and adjustable legs allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, with a height range of 130 to 200 mm.
A cooling power of 0.274 kW indicates the rate at which the unit can remove heat from the cabinet, determining how quickly it can chill new stock and recover after the doors are opened. The 572 litre volume provides space for large quantities of ingredients, organised on gastronorm-compatible shelves. The 130 kg weight reflects the robust construction and the need for a stable base or castors if the unit is to be moved. The footprint of 653 by 796 mm fits into standard kitchen layouts, leaving room for circulation around the unit.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel interior and exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then drying to prevent water marks. The shelves and rails can be removed for thorough cleaning, and the condenser coil should be brushed or vacuumed periodically to maintain airflow. The off-cycle defrost system requires no manual intervention, but the evaporator should be checked occasionally for excessive frost build-up.
The model is available with a refrigerant option of R600a or R290, selected at the time of order. The unit is designed for professional kitchens and is compatible with gastronorm GN 2/1 trays and containers.
