A gas boiling kettle heats liquids by burning gas under a sealed vessel, transferring energy directly into the contents. The flame sits beneath a thick stainless steel base, raising the temperature evenly across the entire surface. This direct method avoids the lag of an electric element and gives instant control over the heat, letting the operator bring large volumes to the boil quickly or hold them at a simmer without scorching. The sealed lid traps steam, reducing evaporation and keeping the kitchen cooler while the contents cook under pressure slightly above atmospheric, which speeds the process without risking the violent boil-over of an open pot.

The sequence begins by filling the cylindrical vessel through the hinged lid. The operator lights the gas burners with the manual piezo ignition, adjusting the flame to the desired intensity. As the liquid heats, the lid remains closed to retain heat and moisture. When the cooking cycle finishes, the insulated drain tap at the front releases the contents without splashing, while the lid's counterbalanced mechanism and heat-resistant handle allow safe one-handed opening even when the kettle is hot.

The MRG-500 is built from three grades of stainless steel. The cooking vessel's base uses AISI 316 for maximum corrosion resistance, with walls of AISI 304. The outer shell and worktop are satin-finished AISI 304, chosen for durability and ease of cleaning. Adjustable legs level the unit on uneven floors, while the safety valve, set to 0.5 bar, vents excess pressure automatically.

The 55 kW power rating means the kettle draws a substantial gas load, requiring a dedicated supply line sized for commercial catering equipment. The 500 L capacity allows bulk preparation of stocks, sauces or soups in a single batch, while the 1300 x 1400 mm footprint fits into a standard worktop run or stands alone on its legs. The 420 kg weight demands a floor capable of supporting heavy static loads, and the unit is moved only with a pallet truck or forklift.

Cleaning follows from the construction. The smooth satin surfaces wipe down with a cloth, while the hinged lid and drain tap disassemble for thorough rinsing. The gas burners and flue grid lift out for inspection and brushing, and the safety valve should be checked periodically to ensure it opens at the correct pressure.

The MRG-500 is the standard version, directly heated by gas with manual ignition and a pilot light. It is designed for integration into a larger kitchen line or for standalone use in high-volume production.
