| NOTES | Off-cycle defrost |
Professional GN 1/1 refrigerator made of stainless steel with forced-air circulation, ensuring a uniform temperature of 0…+8 °C throughout the cabinet. The unit is equipped with electronic control and LED lighting. Defrosting is performed by stopping the compressor. Capacity – 305 L.
A single-door refrigerator built for professional kitchens, holding up to 305 litres of chilled goods in GN 1/1 gastronorm trays. The unit relies on off-cycle defrost: the compressor stops at intervals, allowing any ice to melt without heaters, so energy use stays low and the interior remains stable at the set temperature.
Inside, a fan circulates cold air continuously, pushing it evenly across every shelf. This forced convection keeps every tray at the same temperature, whether it is placed at the top, middle or bottom. The operator sets the desired temperature between 0 and 8 °C; the electronic control then holds that level, adjusting the compressor as needed to compensate for door openings and new loads.
Three epoxy-coated shelves slide out on runners, each rated for 40 kg and sized to accept GN 1/1 trays. The shelves can be repositioned or removed entirely, so the interior can be reorganised for taller items or left open for bulk storage. LED lighting switches on automatically when the door opens, giving a clear view of every shelf without adding heat.
The cabinet is constructed from stainless steel inside and out, with 70 mm of insulation between the walls. Adjustable legs allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, raising the base from 130 mm to 200 mm. A single-phase 220–240 V supply powers the compressor, fan and electronics, drawing 0.361 kW of cooling power.
Cleaning is straightforward: the shelves lift out, the interior surfaces are smooth and the drain channel is accessible for regular wiping. The off-cycle defrost system requires no manual intervention, so maintenance is limited to checking the door seal and cleaning the condenser coil as needed.
A variant with refrigerant R290 is available, offering a slightly higher cooling power of 0.398 kW for 60 Hz installations.
