FAGOR Off-Cycle Defrost Refrigerator GN 2/1 1186 Litre, 1318 x 842 x 2040 mm

A professional refrigerator built for high-volume kitchens, holding full gastronorm GN 2/1 trays on six adjustable epoxy-coated shelves. The off-cycle defrost system stops the compressor at intervals, letting any ice melt and evaporate without manual intervention, so food stays at a steady 0 to 8 °C without frost build-up.

Cold air is pushed by a fan across every shelf, keeping the same temperature throughout the 1186 litre chamber. The cabinet is lined with AISI 304 stainless steel inside and out, chosen for hygiene and resistance to daily cleaning chemicals. A 60 mm layer of high-density polyurethane insulation reduces heat gain, cutting the load on the 0.436 kW compressor and keeping energy use low.

The two doors are stainless steel with magnetic seals and ergonomic handles; they stay open at 120° or close automatically if left under 90°, minimising cold-air loss. Inside, LED lighting runs vertically, giving even visibility across every shelf. An electronic control panel with digital display lets the operator set the exact temperature and monitor the cabinet without opening the door.

Shelves slide on vertical guides that offer 23 positions at 55 mm intervals, so trays of different heights can be stored together. Each shelf takes up to 40 kg and is coated in epoxy to resist corrosion and scratches. Rounded interior corners and an integrated drainage channel direct water to a single point, speeding up daily cleaning.

The unit stands on adjustable stainless-steel legs that level from 130 to 200 mm, allowing the refrigerator to sit flush on uneven floors and making it easier to clean underneath. A 220–240 V single-phase supply at 50 Hz powers the compressor and controls, while the refrigerant R600a is used for its low environmental impact.

Overall dimensions of 1318 mm wide, 842 mm deep and 2040 mm high give a footprint that fits standard kitchen layouts, while the 300 kg weight means the refrigerator is moved on a trolley or pallet jack rather than lifted by hand.

A 60 Hz version is also available, with a slightly different cooling power and refrigerant charge.
