| NOTES | Off-cycle defrost; |
Professional Pass-through refrigerated counter made of AISI 304 stainless steel, with doors on both sides and forced-air circulation. The unit is suitable for GN 1/1 containers and is equipped with electronic control featuring a 5" digital display, ECO energy-saving function, and HACCP alarm recording system. Defrosting is performed by stopping the compressor. The ACP-4G/C model has 4 sections with access from both sides.
A pass-through refrigeration counter keeps prepared ingredients chilled and ready for service on one side while kitchen staff load fresh batches from the other. The unit stands between the prep area and the servery, eliminating cross-traffic and maintaining a steady flow of plates. Inside, a forced-air cooling system circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, preventing hot spots and keeping every tray at the same temperature. The refrigeration cycle runs continuously, drawing heat out of the cabinet and expelling it at the rear; when the set point is reached, the compressor pauses until the temperature rises again. Off-cycle defrost uses the natural warmth of the paused compressor to melt any frost that has formed on the evaporator, so no separate heating element is needed and energy use stays low.
Loading is straightforward: the operator slides GN 1/1 trays onto the adjustable guides, sets the desired temperature on the digital control panel, and closes the doors. The counter maintains the chosen range between 0 °C and +8 °C, displaying the current reading on a 5-inch screen. If the temperature drifts outside safe limits or the power fails, the HACCP system logs the event and sounds an alarm. Each door can be propped open at 120° for easy access, then swings shut automatically once released below 90° to keep cold air inside.
The entire cabinet is built from AISI 304 stainless steel, inside and out, with 60 mm of high-density polyurethane insulation that contains no freon. A 30 mm stainless steel worktop runs along the top, providing a sturdy surface for plating or holding small tools. Removable magnetic door seals maintain a tight closure, while rounded interior corners and epoxy-coated shelves simplify cleaning. Adjustable legs allow the unit to be levelled between 130 mm and 200 mm, clearing space for mops or floor scrubbers underneath.
Controls are grouped on an intuitive electronic panel. The main display shows the current temperature and allows the operator to set the target range. An ECO mode reduces energy consumption during quieter periods, and the HACCP function stores up to ten alerts for later review. Defrost water is evaporated automatically, so no manual draining is required.
The 590-litre capacity holds one GN 1/1 shelf and two sets of height-adjustable tray slides per door, giving enough room for a full service without overcrowding. The 0.36 kW power rating draws a modest load on a standard 220-240 V single-phase circuit, suitable for most commercial kitchens. At 150 kg, the unit is heavy enough to stay stable but can still be moved with a pallet truck. The 2240 mm width fits through standard doorways and leaves space for adjacent worktops, while the 768 mm depth keeps the footprint compact without sacrificing shelf area.
Cleaning follows from the construction: remove the shelves and guides, wipe down the rounded interior surfaces, and rinse the magnetic seals. The front panel opens for access to the compressor and fans, and the ventilation grilles are designed to stay clear even when the unit is built into cabinetry. Adjustable legs lift the base high enough to sweep or mop underneath.
Two electrical versions are available: the standard 50 Hz model and a 60 Hz variant for markets that require it. Both use refrigerant R600a, which has a low environmental impact and efficient cooling properties.
The counter is classified as climate class 5, meaning it performs reliably in ambient temperatures up to 40 °C and relative humidity up to 60%—conditions typical of a busy professional kitchen.
