| NOTES | Off-cycle defrost; |
Professional Pass-through refrigerated counter made of AISI 304 stainless steel, with doors on both sides and forced-air circulation. The unit is suitable for GN 1/1 containers and is equipped with electronic control featuring a 5" digital display, ECO energy-saving function, and HACCP alarm recording system. Defrosting is performed by stopping the compressor. The ACP-2G/C model has 2 sections with access from both sides.
A pass-through refrigeration counter keeps chilled ingredients within arm's reach of two workstations. Cold air is drawn across an evaporator coil by a fan, then circulated through the cabinet. The coil removes heat from the air, lowering its temperature to the set range. Because the air is constantly moving, every shelf receives the same cold flow, preventing hot spots and keeping food at a uniform temperature throughout service.
The operator loads GN 1/1 trays onto the adjustable slides inside each door. Once the door is closed, the fan-driven air stream maintains the temperature without interruption. During off-cycle defrost, the compressor pauses and the residual heat in the coil melts any frost that has formed. The water evaporates automatically, so no manual draining is needed.
The cabinet is built entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, inside and out, with 60 mm of high-density polyurethane insulation moulded under pressure. A 30 mm stainless-steel worktop runs along the top edge. Doors are hinged to open 120° and can be locked in that position; below 90° they swing shut automatically. Removable magnetic seals maintain the insulation barrier and simplify cleaning.
Controls are grouped on an electronic panel with a 5 in digital display. The panel sets the temperature between 0 °C and +8 °C, monitors the ECO energy-saving mode, and logs up to ten HACCP alarms for temperature excursions or power interruptions.
A 302 L capacity allows storage of multiple GN 1/1 trays. The 1340 mm width matches a standard worktop run, while the 768 mm depth fits through most kitchen doorways. The 110 kg weight requires two people to move, and the adjustable legs level the unit on uneven floors. The 0.36 kW power draw runs on a single-phase 220-240 V 50 Hz circuit, the standard supply in British commercial kitchens.
Cleaning is simplified by rounded internal corners and removable shelves. The front panel opens for access to technical components, and the ventilation grille can be built in without reducing airflow. Adjustable legs lift the unit 130 to 200 mm off the floor, allowing mopping underneath.
The model is supplied with one GN 1/1 shelf and two sets of height-adjustable tray slides per door. A 60 Hz version with the same 0.36 kW rating and R600a refrigerant is available as a separate article.
