Professional Snack 1200 refrigerator made of stainless steel with forced-air circulation, ensuring a uniform temperature of 0…+8 °C throughout the cabinet. The unit is equipped with electronic control and LED lighting. Defrosting is performed by stopping the compressor. Capacity – 1109 L.
A two-door refrigerator built for high-volume catering kitchens, the FAGOR SNACK CUP-22S keeps perishable stock at a steady 0 to 8 °C without manual defrosting. Instead of a heating element, the unit relies on ambient warmth during compressor off-cycles to melt any frost that forms on the evaporator. This method eliminates the temperature spikes that timed defrost cycles can cause, giving a more stable environment for fresh produce, dairy and pre-prepared dishes.
The operator loads stock onto the adjustable shelves, sets the desired temperature on the electronic control panel, and closes the doors. An internal fan circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, preventing hot spots and ensuring consistent cooling from top to bottom. LED lighting illuminates the full 1109 L interior, so staff can locate items quickly without opening the doors longer than necessary. When the compressor pauses for its off-cycle, any accumulated frost melts and drains away automatically, so the unit never needs to be emptied for defrosting.
The cabinet is constructed from stainless steel inside and out, with 50 mm of insulation sandwiched between the inner and outer skins. This thickness reduces cold-air loss, helping the refrigerator maintain its set temperature even when the kitchen is busy and the doors are opened frequently. Adjustable legs allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, while the two-door configuration lets staff access one side without disturbing the other.
Eighteen shelf positions are available, spaced at 70 mm intervals. Shelves are epoxy-coated and rated to 40 kg each; two sizes are provided: 560 × 542 mm and 500 × 154 mm. The electronic control panel displays the current temperature and allows precise adjustment within the 0–8 °C range. A 0.436 kW cooling circuit draws power from a 220–240 V single-phase supply, suitable for standard commercial kitchen circuits.
The 1109 L volume provides ample space for bulk storage, while the 300 kg weight indicates a sturdy, floor-standing unit that is moved only with a pallet truck or trolley. The 1388 × 739 mm footprint fits through standard kitchen doorways and leaves room for circulation around the unit. Off-cycle defrost and Class C energy efficiency reduce running costs compared with models that use heated defrost cycles.
Cleaning is straightforward: shelves and shelf rails can be removed for washing, and the smooth stainless-steel surfaces wipe clean with standard kitchen sanitiser. The refrigerant, R600a, is a hydrocarbon with low global-warming potential, chosen for its efficiency in medium-temperature refrigeration.
A 60 Hz version (0.437 kW, R600a) is also available under article 19089496.
