Professional Snack refrigerator with a fish storage compartment, made of stainless steel and equipped with forced-air circulation and two separate compartments. The refrigerator compartment operates within a temperature range of 0…+8 °C, while the fish storage compartment maintains a temperature of -2…-4 °C. The unit is equipped with electronic control and LED lighting. The refrigerator compartment is defrosted by stopping the compressor, while the fish storage compartment uses an electric defrost system. Total capacity – 506 L.
A professional refrigerator built for high-volume catering kitchens, the FAGOR SNACK CUD-12S/F keeps chilled goods and fresh fish at their required temperatures in two separate, independently controlled compartments. The upper section circulates cold air to maintain a standard refrigeration range, while the lower section uses a slightly colder airflow to hold fish just above freezing, preserving texture and extending shelf life without freezing solid.
Cold air is drawn across an evaporator coil and then forced through the cabinet by a fan, ensuring even distribution and eliminating hot spots. The refrigeration section defrosts automatically during the compressor's off-cycle, while the fish compartment uses an electric defrost system to clear frost build-up without manual intervention. Both compartments share a single refrigeration circuit, but the electronic control system adjusts the airflow and coil temperature to deliver the correct conditions for each zone.
Loading the refrigerator follows a simple sequence. The operator opens either door, places trays or containers on the adjustable shelves in the upper compartment or on the three wire baskets in the fish section, then closes the door. The electronic control panel allows precise temperature setting for each zone, and an internal LED light illuminates the contents whenever the door is opened. Shelves can be repositioned at 18 different heights to accommodate tall containers or stacked trays, and each shelf supports up to 40 kg of product.
The entire cabinet is constructed from stainless steel, inside and out, for durability and easy cleaning. A 50 mm layer of insulation surrounds the compartments, reducing energy loss and maintaining stable temperatures even in busy kitchen environments. The unit stands on adjustable legs that can be set between 130 mm and 200 mm to level the refrigerator on uneven floors.
The 506 L volume provides ample storage for a full service, while the 150 kg weight indicates a sturdy, floor-standing unit that is moved only with a trolley or pallet jack. The 693 mm width and 739 mm depth fit within standard worktop runs, and the 2067 mm height allows the refrigerator to be positioned beneath overhead cupboards or ventilation hoods. A 220-240 V single-phase supply powers the compressor and controls, drawing 0.619 kW during normal operation.
Shelves are coated with epoxy for corrosion resistance and can be removed for thorough cleaning. The wire baskets in the fish compartment are also removable, and all interior surfaces are designed to be wiped down quickly between services. The electronic control panel includes a digital display for monitoring temperatures, and the LED lighting remains cool to the touch, reducing heat build-up inside the cabinet.
The CUD-12S/F is available in a 60 Hz version with refrigerant R290, supplied as a separate article.
