Professional Snack refrigerator with freezer made of stainless steel, featuring forced-air circulation and two separate compartments. The refrigerator compartment maintains a temperature of 0…+8 °C, while the freezer compartment operates within a temperature range of -18…-22 °C. The unit is equipped with electronic control and LED lighting. The refrigerator compartment is defrosted by stopping the compressor, while the freezer compartment uses an electric defrost system. Total capacity – 506 L.
A two-door refrigerator with an integrated freezer compartment keeps chilled and frozen goods at separate, stable temperatures without occupying extra floor space in a busy kitchen.
The refrigerator section circulates cold air with a fan, spreading it evenly across every shelf so that every item cools at the same rate. The freezer section also uses forced air, but adds an electric defrost element that melts ice build-up without manual intervention. Both compartments rely on a single compressor that cycles on and off to maintain the set temperatures.
To use the unit, load chilled goods into the upper compartment and frozen items into the lower one. Set the desired temperatures on the electronic control panel, then close the doors. The fan starts automatically, drawing air across the evaporator coils and distributing it through adjustable vents. LED lighting switches on when either door opens, giving a clear view of the contents. When the compressor pauses for defrosting, the fan stops briefly, then resumes once the cycle is complete.
The cabinet is built from stainless steel inside and out, with 50 mm of insulation sandwiched between the inner and outer skins. This thickness reduces heat transfer, keeping the interior cold with less energy. The doors seal with magnetic gaskets, and the hinges allow either door to be removed for cleaning or reversed for left- or right-hand opening. Adjustable legs raise or lower the unit between 130 mm and 200 mm to level it on uneven floors.
The electronic control panel displays the current temperature for each compartment and allows precise adjustment within the ranges of 0 to +8 °C for the refrigerator and -18 to -22 °C for the freezer. An alarm sounds if the door is left open or if the temperature drifts outside the set limits.
The 506 L volume is divided into two compartments, each with its own temperature zone. The footprint of 693 mm by 739 mm fits into a standard worktop run, while the 2067 mm height requires overhead clearance. The 150 kg weight means the unit must be moved with a trolley or two people. The 0.733 kW cooling power indicates the load it places on the electrical supply, and the 220-240 V single-phase connection matches the standard circuit in commercial kitchens.
Shelves are epoxy-coated wire grids that slide out for loading and unloading. Each shelf measures 560 mm by 542 mm and supports up to 40 kg. The adjustable shelf supports allow 18 different height positions, so the interior can be reconfigured for tall bottles or shallow trays. All shelves and supports are removable for cleaning.
The unit uses R290 refrigerant, a hydrocarbon that has low environmental impact. A 60 Hz version with a slightly higher cooling power is available as a separate article.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The shelves and supports lift out, and the door gaskets can be removed for thorough cleaning. The defrost cycle in the freezer compartment reduces the need for manual ice removal, but any remaining ice should be scraped away gently to avoid damaging the evaporator coils.
The model is designed for professional catering environments and meets climate class 4, meaning it operates reliably in ambient temperatures up to 40 °C.
