A refrigerator and freezer combined in one stainless-steel cabinet keeps chilled and frozen goods at separate temperatures without occupying two separate footprints. The refrigeration system compresses a refrigerant gas, then expands it through coils inside the cabinet. As the gas expands, it absorbs heat from the air around the coils, lowering the temperature inside the compartments. A fan circulates the cold air evenly across every shelf, preventing warm spots and maintaining stable conditions for fresh and frozen products.

The operator loads chilled items into the upper section and frozen items into the lower section. An electronic control panel sets the target temperature for each zone: 0 to +8 °C for the refrigerator and -18 to -22 °C for the freezer. Once the set points are reached, the compressor cycles on and off to hold them. The refrigerator section defrosts automatically when the compressor stops; the freezer section uses an electric heater to melt ice build-up. LED lighting switches on when the doors open, illuminating every shelf without adding heat.

The cabinet is built from stainless steel inside and out, with 50 mm of insulation between the walls. Three doors seal the compartments, each fitted with a magnetic gasket. Adjustable legs raise the unit from 130 mm to 200 mm to level it on uneven floors. Inside, eighteen shelf positions are provided by a pair of vertical rails on each side; shelves slide along the rails and lock at the chosen height. Each shelf measures 560 mm by 542 mm and supports up to 40 kg of product. The shelves are coated with epoxy resin for durability and easy cleaning.

The 1109 L volume is divided into two temperature zones, allowing simultaneous storage of fresh and frozen goods. The 0.8 kW cooling power draws a steady load on a 220-240 V single-phase circuit, suitable for a dedicated kitchen supply. The 300 kg weight requires a sturdy floor and a trolley for moving. The 1388 mm width, 739 mm depth and 2067 mm height set the footprint on the worktop or floor, fitting through standard kitchen doorways when the legs are lowered to their minimum height.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then drying to prevent water marks. The shelves are removed, washed separately and replaced. The fan and coils are accessed from the rear for periodic dusting to maintain airflow. The refrigerant R600a is a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact, used in the 60 Hz version supplied as standard.
