| NOTES | Off-cycle defrost/ Electric defrost |
Professional Snack refrigerator with freezer made of stainless steel, featuring forced-air circulation and two separate compartments. The refrigerator compartment maintains a temperature of 0…+8 °C, while the freezer compartment operates within a temperature range of -18…-22 °C. The unit is equipped with electronic control and LED lighting. The refrigerator compartment is defrosted by stopping the compressor, while the freezer compartment uses an electric defrost system. Total capacity – 1012 L.
A professional refrigerator with an integrated freezer compartment, the FAGOR SNACK CUD-22S/M keeps chilled and frozen goods in separate, precisely controlled zones. The refrigeration system circulates cold air through a forced-convection loop, drawing heat away from the stored items and expelling it at the rear. This continuous airflow maintains an even temperature throughout each compartment, preventing hot spots and preserving food quality during intensive service.
The upper section cools to between 0 and +8 °C, holding fresh ingredients ready for immediate use, while the lower freezer holds a steady −18 to −22 °C, locking in frozen stock for longer storage. An off-cycle defrost programme stops the compressor periodically in the refrigerator section, allowing any frost to melt without manual intervention; the freezer section uses an electric defrost cycle that activates automatically to clear ice build-up.
Operation begins by loading the adjustable shelves with trays, containers or loose items. The electronic control panel is set to the desired temperature for each zone; the unit then maintains that setting without further adjustment. LED lighting inside each compartment illuminates the contents, making it easy to locate items during service. When the door is opened, the forced-air system quickly restores the set temperature once the door is closed again.
The cabinet is built from stainless steel inside and out, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. A 50 mm layer of insulation surrounds both compartments, reducing cold loss and keeping energy use stable. The base is fitted with adjustable legs that can be set between 130 mm and 200 mm, allowing the unit to stand level on uneven floors.
Eighteen shelf positions are available, each accepting a 560 × 542 mm epoxy-coated shelf rated to 40 kg. Shelves can be removed or repositioned to accommodate taller items, and the entire interior is designed for quick wipe-down between services.
The 220–240 V single-phase supply matches the standard circuit found in professional kitchens, while the 0.725 kW cooling power indicates the load the unit will place on that circuit. At 220 kg, the refrigerator is moved on a trolley or pallet jack; its 1388 mm width and 739 mm depth fit through standard service doors and leave room for adjacent worktops. The 1012 L volume provides space for bulk storage without occupying excessive floor area.
Two versions are available: the standard model uses refrigerant R600a; an alternative version with refrigerant R290 is offered at a different article number and is rated at 0.779 kW for 60 Hz supply.
