A meat mincer reduces whole cuts of meat into finely ground product by forcing them through a rotating spiral auger. The auger compresses the meat against a perforated plate, while a sharp knife slices it at the plate's surface. This continuous motion breaks down fibres evenly, producing consistent texture without overheating the product.
The operator loads the hopper with chilled meat, ensuring the safety switch is engaged. The mincer starts when the switch is released, drawing meat into the auger. A reverse function clears blockages by reversing the auger's rotation. The ground meat exits through the stainless steel plate, which determines the coarseness of the mince.
The FIMAR 32TN is built with a stainless steel body and hopper for hygiene and durability. The grinding unit, including the auger, plate and knife, is fully removable for cleaning. A self-sharpening stainless steel knife maintains cutting efficiency, while an oiled gear motor reduces maintenance. The ø76 mm meat inlet accommodates large cuts without pre-chopping.
Controls include a safety switch on the hopper, which stops the motor if the hopper is removed, and a reverse switch to clear jams. The 2.2 kW motor provides sufficient power for continuous operation, while the 230-400 V/3N/50 Hz voltage allows connection to standard three-phase commercial supplies. The 59 kg weight ensures stability during use, and the 520 x 320 x 550 mm footprint fits on most worktops.
Cleaning involves removing the grinding unit and washing all stainless steel parts in warm water with food-safe detergent. The oiled gear motor requires no additional lubrication. The supplied ø6 mm plate produces standard mince, while alternative plates may be fitted for different textures.
The FIMAR 32TN is categorised under commercial meat preparation equipment.
