A manual food slicer built for controlled, uniform slices from a 220 mm rotating blade. The blade turns at a steady speed, driven by an electric motor, while the operator slides the carriage back and forth. This continuous motion produces even slices without the heat or compression that can crush softer foods. Adjustable thickness from paper-thin to 15 mm lets the same machine handle deli meats, cheeses, vegetables and breads.
The operator places the food on the carriage, locks it in position, and sets the slice thickness with the calibrated dial. A single start button engages the motor; the blade begins to turn and the carriage moves smoothly along its track. The operator guides the food into the blade with one hand and collects the slices with the other. When the cut is complete, the carriage returns to the start position and the motor stops automatically.
The slicer is constructed from stainless steel and aluminium, with a sealed motor housing and a food-safe blade guard. The 220 mm diameter blade is sharpened on both sides for balanced cutting and easy maintenance. The carriage runs on low-friction slides that require only occasional lubrication.
Controls consist of a start button, an emergency stop, and a thickness dial marked in millimetres. The dial adjusts the gap between the blade and the carriage, determining slice thickness without changing the blade speed.
The 0.18 kW power rating draws a modest load on a standard 230 V single-phase circuit, suitable for most kitchen ring mains. The 14 kg weight keeps the unit stable on a worktop without permanent fixing, yet light enough to move for cleaning. The footprint of 580 × 405 mm fits between other counter-top appliances or against a wall.
Cleaning follows the exposed parts: the blade, carriage, guard and thickness dial. The blade can be removed for sharpening or replacement without tools. The motor housing is wiped with a damp cloth; no water enters the sealed unit. Slides are lubricated periodically with food-grade grease to maintain smooth travel.
The H220N is a single model with no variants or accessories listed in the catalogue. It is positioned in the professional slicer section for manual operation.
